an exposition, if you will

This is the online journal for the meditative and martial-arts practices that i'm studying.  I do a bear style qigung from an Ume mountain lineage.  I have been working for maybe four months on this particular style,  and a more recent breathing technique designed to move chi through your body.  The blog serves the purpose of helping me organize my thoughts related to the concepts about tai chi and qigung,  and a diagram in earnest of the energy sensations that i am experiencing and working through.  so there will be some stuff where i look at accupuncture and chinese medicinal theory (if i can find any of that), forms and energy movement within that tai chi style,  and this breathing technique.

I have a lot to write over the next few days to make sure that I don't lose anything,  and i'll start with a post titled "the breakthrough",  in which i give the story of what's going on to the fullest that I can conceptualize it.

I really do encourage you to interact with me on any thoughts you may have.  I love those one liner e-mails where you relate your thoughts about something,  and I find them more time consuming but also as rewwarding to get long letters in the digital mail.  and if you're skeptical,  i would love to hear from you as well.  I'd ask,  though that in any comment or communication, that you be sincere (or honest)  in whatever qualm you may (or may not) have with this,  and be open to the possibility of discussing your thoughts at least privately,  if you wish to share them.

You're welcome to try and take the journey with me,  or relate any knowledge or advice you've got about chi, taichi, of qigung,  and i'll do my best (though limited) effort to explain those things.

Have a great day,  everyone,

Dave.
